Job summary

L’Oréal is seeking an Analyst - Supply Chain Continuous Improvement at the East Manchester Distribution Center to drive Six Sigma projects, optimize material flow, and lead data-driven labor improvements. You will manage projects, develop KPI reporting, and collaborate across IT and global teams.

Strong experience in Excel, PowerBI, and Visio for analytics and process mapping is required, with a focus on continuous improvement and budgeting for CapEx proposals.

Qualifications

• Continuous Improvement & Six Sigma knowledge is required (Green Belt a plus).
• Data analytics skills with Excel/PowerBI/Visio are essential.
• Experience with warehouse operations and labor management is needed.

JOB TITLE: Analyst - Supply Chain Continuous Improvement

REPORTS TO: Site Director

DEPARTMENT: SC Supply Chain Physical Distribution

LOCATION: East Manchester Distribution Center

A Day in the Life:

• Continuous Improvement & Layouts: Propose and lead Six Sigma projects, time/motion studies, and workstation designs to optimize productivity, material flow, and ergonomics.
• Data & Labor Systems: Manage the Labor Management System, establish labor standards, and develop PowerBI reporting to communicate key performance metrics.
• Project Leadership: Manage project timelines, design process flows, write work instructions, and coordinate with contractors, Central IT, and global teams.
• Safety & Compliance: Actively support an interdependent safety culture and L’Oréal’s Quality and Environmental missions.
• Budget Planning: Support the development of capital expenditure (CapEx) proposals, track project costs, and manage operational efficiency budgets for continuous improvement initiatives.
