Position Summary: The Business Analytics Analyst will provide data retrieval, monitoring, analysis, reporting, and present findings to support various departments within the organization. This role will support product and strategy decision-making by creating analysis and reports as requested.

About The Clearing House: The Clearing House (TCH) is a banking association and payments company owned by the largest commercial banks in the United States. TCH owns and operates the core payments system infrastructure in the US and is working to modernize this infrastructure by launching a new, real-time payment system. TCH is the only private-sector ACH and wire operator in the US, clearing nearly $2 trillion in US dollar payments daily, representing half of all commercial ACH and wire volume. Since 1853, TCH has provided critical banking services including Direct Deposit of payroll, bill payments, and check image exchange.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, economics, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interviewing capabilities
• Strong mathematical, analytic, and statistical skills
• Ability to recognize trends, evaluate options, and apply relevant solutions
• Proficiency in data retrieval and analytics tools such as AWS QuickSight
• Experience with other database analysis tools like Tableau
• Charting and modeling skills to enhance analytical presentations

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on ongoing product and customer data
• Analyze data to identify trends in payment activity
• Develop, update, and present analysis and reports for decision support and management
• Forecast volumes, revenue, and market share
• Support product team initiatives, including database and reporting tool development
• Create new reports and capabilities using database analysis and reporting tools

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The work is generally sedentary, performed in a favorable office environment with standard equipment. Lighting and temperature are adequate, with no hazardous conditions.

Work Schedule and Travel

The typical hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with employees expected to report to the office three days per week. Occasional travel may be required, and onsite requirements may change.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range is $70,000 - $90,000, based on experience, skills, and location. Discretionary incentive compensation may be available. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, and more.
