Job description

Position Summary: The Business Analytics Analyst will work to provide data retrieval, monitoring, analysis, reporting, and present findings to support various departments in the organization. This role will require will support product and strategy decision-making by creating analysis and reporting as requested.

About The Clearing House: The Clearing House (TCH) is a banking association and payments company that is owned by the largest commercial banks in the United States. TCH owns and operates the core payments system infrastructure in the US and is currently working to modernize that infrastructure by launching a new, ubiquitous, real-time payment system. TCH is the only private-sector ACH and wire operator in the US, clearing and settling nearly $2 trillion in US dollar payments each day, representing half of all commercial ACH and wire volume. TCH has provided critical services to the banking industry since 1853, and today, our core products facilitate services including Direct Deposit of payroll, bill payments, and check image exchange.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, economics, or related field
• 3+ years professional experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as interviewing capabilities
• Strong mathematical, analytic and statistical skills
• Ability to recognize trends, evaluate options and identify, validate, and apply relevant solutions
• Proficiency in data retrieval and analytic tool AWS Quicksite
  • Experience in other database analysis tools (e.g. Tableau)
• Charting and modeling experience to augment presentation of analytical options

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and report ongoing product and customer data and results
• Analyze data for trends in payment activity
• Develop/update/present analysis and reports for decision support and management reporting
• Forecast volumes, revenue, and market share
• Support Product team initiatives, including database and reporting tool evolution
• Develop new reporting and capabilities via database analysis and reporting tools

Physical demands and work environment: Work is generally sedentary in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

The general working hours for this position are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Employees in this position will report to the offiice three days per week.

Occasional travel may be required. Onsite work requirements may change at any time.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000. Base salary will be determined by the role, experience, skill set and location. For eligible positions, discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded contingent on personal and company performance.
