Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Business Analyst to support issuer operations, onboarding, and ongoing compliance across payments partners. The role serves as the primary operations contact for assigned clients, ensuring adherence to rules, agreements, and program documents while coordinating resolution of acceptance and transaction processing issues.

The analyst will collaborate with internal stakeholders, interpret technical specifications, and monitor compliance and risk.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in payments or financial services, or 4+ years in lieu of formal education.
• Experience with acquirers, issuers, processors, gateways, or network participants.
• Ability to interpret program documents, contracts, and technical specifications.
• Working knowledge of APIs, connectivity concepts, and batch file processing.
• Experience with Salesforce, Snowflake, Tableau, Blueworks, Google Workspace, and Smartsheet.
• Strong problem-solving and compliance focus.
• Effective client communication, organization, planning, and presentation skills.
• HS Diploma or GED; Bachelor's preferred.

• Serve as primary operations contact and trusted advisor for acceptance and transaction processing matters.
• Drive ongoing compliance with network rules, regulations, agreements, and program documents.
• Research, respond, and monitor compliance, risk, and escalations for assigned participants.
• Collaborate with sales and internal stakeholders on new programs and operational readiness.
• Coordinate certification and release activities to ensure rule and specification adherence.
• Support resolution of acceptance and processing issues by engaging partners and internal teams.
• Contribute to department analytics, reporting, and continuous improvement opportunities.

Our client seeks a Business Analyst to support issuer operations, onboarding, and ongoing compliance across payments partners. The role serves as a primary operations contact for assigned clients, ensuring adherence to rules, agreements, and program documents while coordinating resolution of acceptance and transaction processing issues. The analyst will collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners, interpret technical specifications, and monitor compliance and risk. The team operates in EST hours and communicates primarily via email and conference calls. Candidates must be comfortable interpreting technical documentation, understanding APIs, batch file processing, and connectivity across systems. No direct coding is required.

Rate: $27.00 to $30.00/hr. w2

Education Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's in Business, Technology, Finance, Engineering, or related preferred.
