Role Description

This is a full-time remote position for an Investment Analyst / Associate. You’ll play a direct, hands-on role in the firm’s investment research, portfolio management, client engagement, and daily operations. The right candidate will have the chance to shape the firm’s growth trajectory and, for exceptional performers, rapidly progress toward a leadership or partnership role.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct quantitative and fundamental research on global markets, sectors, and securities
• Generate investment ideas and support portfolio decision-making through data analysis
• Track, analyze, and report on portfolio performance and risk metrics
• Assist with trade execution, compliance, and client reporting
• Help develop and refine investment models, tools, and processes
• Support client communications, onboarding, and relationship management
• Contribute to business development, marketing, and operational improvements as needed
• Collaborate directly with the founder and leadership on special projects and growth initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and research skills
• Experience with Excel, Python, or other data analysis tools is a plus
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a startup or small team environment—must be resourceful and comfortable with change
• Genuine interest in investment management, markets, and business building
• Previous experience in financial services, trading, operations, or research is preferred, but not required
• Spanish language skills are a plus
