Job summary

Covasant Technologies in the United States seeks a Lead Analyst to join its India Analytics team. You will own analytics, reporting, commissions management, and financial validations across Fortune 500 programs, partnering with operations, finance, and leadership to drive performance.

You will develop Tableau dashboards, deliver recurring and ad hoc reports, and ensure data accuracy while managing multiple priorities end-to-end.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of analytics, BI, reporting, or operations analysis experience.
  • Strong experience with Tableau dashboard development, reporting, and data visualization.
  • Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, Pivot Tables, Power Query, complex formulas).
  • Ability to own a campaign or book of business end-to-end and partner with leadership.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Lead Analyst to join our growing India Analytics team. This role will serve as the primary analytics owner supporting multiple Fortune 500 clients and strategic business programs, while providing operational analytics, reporting, commission management, incentive administration, financial validations, and business support.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, advanced reporting expertise, and exceptional attention to detail, particularly in areas involving commissions, incentives, and financial validations. This role requires the ability to independently manage multiple priorities while partnering closely with operations, leadership, finance, and client-facing teams to drive performance and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Analytics & Reporting
  • Serve as the primary analytics lead supporting multiple Fortune 500 client programs and strategic business initiatives.
  • Take full ownership of assigned client programs and books of business end-to-end, developing deep expertise in program performance, data structures, reporting requirements, incentive plans, and operational processes.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions to provide visibility into business performance and operational KPIs.
  • Produce recurring and ad hoc reporting for leadership, operations, and field teams.
  • Analyze trends and business results to provide actionable recommendations that improve operational and financial performance.
  • Serve as a trusted analytics partner to leadership by proactively identifying trends, anticipating business needs, and providing data-driven recommendations.
Commission & Financial Validation
  • Calculate, validate, and reconcile commissions for assigned programs.
  • Perform weekly commission audits and quality validations to ensure accuracy.
  • Validate weekly production, quality, and commission reporting across assigned programs.
  • Validate weekly Profit & Loss (P&L) reporting and investigate discrepancies.
  • Maintain documentation and controls related to commission and incentive processes.
Incentive Management
  • Manage SPIFs (Sales Performance Incentive Funds), client-funded incentives, and field-facing bonus programs.
  • Validate incentive results and ensure accurate calculation and distribution of payouts.
  • Support the design, tracking, reporting, and administration of incentive programs.
Business Support & Stakeholder Management
  • Attend recurring client, business, and operational meetings as the analytics representative.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Sales, and Leadership teams to support reporting, analytics, and strategic business initiatives.
  • Provide analytical support for operational decision-making and business planning.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of work.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for analytics-related questions and support for assigned programs.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, reporting, operations analysis, or related analytical role.
  • Strong experience with Tableau dashboard development, reporting, and data visualization.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and complex formulas.
  • Demonstrated ability to fully own a campaign or book of business end-to-end, developing deep mastery of its data, anticipating business needs, and serving as the go-to expert leadership relies on.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills.
  • Experience working with commissions, incentives, financial validations, or performance-based reporting.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and own a book of business end-to-end.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting sales, telecommunications, contact center, or other performance-driven business environments.
  • Experience presenting analytical findings and recommendations to leadership, clients, or operational stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of commission management, incentive compensation, and P&L validation processes.
