Overview

Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an entry-level Analog / Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to join our Bufferchip Design team in Agoura Hills, California. Candidates will join some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.

Location: Agoura Hills, CA

Responsibilities

  1. Design, simulate, and characterize high-performance and high-speed Analog / Mixed-Signal circuits.
  2. Research and implement optimal circuit architectures.
  3. Work with the layout team to optimize for post-extraction performance.
  4. Document analysis and simulation to demonstrate that the design meets electrical and timing parameters and supports pre-silicon verification flow.
  5. Collaborate with the Lab/System team for circuit characterization and validation.
  6. Create behavior models for verification simulations.
  7. Work closely with Senior Design Engineers on the team.

Qualifications

  • MS EE or PhD EE with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
  • Coursework or experience in CMOS analog/mixed-signal circuit design.
  • Good knowledge of basic analog circuit design principles.
  • Some knowledge of Verilog-A, Verilog is desirable.
  • Strong commitment and ability to work in cross-functional and globally dispersed teams.
