Job summary

Kowloon Central Cluster under the Hospital Authority seeks an Anaesthetic Assistant to support anaesthetic and operating theatre procedures. You will perform equipment checks, sterilisation, patient monitoring, cannulation, and assist in training junior staff.

The role offers HK$25,373–HK$29,891 per month with a potential end-of-contract gratuity up to 5% for contract staff, subject to performance. Location: Kowloon Central Cluster, Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Fluent Cantonese and English language skills are required.
• Holding an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma in Health Care is preferred.
• Completion of Corporate Patient Care Assistant (Anaesthetic Assistant) Training is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist anaesthesiologists and nursing staff in anaesthetic and operating procedures.
• Check and prepare anesthesia machines, monitors and equipment.
• Clean, disinfect and sterilize operating theatre instruments and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the OT environment and equipment.
• Monitor patient vital signs during surgery and anaesthesia and recovery.
• Support training of junior staff and assist with clerical duties as needed.
