Qualifications

• Trauma surgery experience required.
• Chest tube insertion capability mandatory.
• Laparoscopic and vascular skills preferred.
• Able to work 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for trauma surgery in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform surgeries as needed and manage post-op care.
• Adhere to 1:4 beeper call with 30-minute response.
• Coordinate housing, travel, and credentialing through CompHealth.

• Thursday - Monday, 7 pm - 7 am -- 12-hour shifts
• Weekend coverage options: every weekend or every other weekend
• Beeper call -- 1:4 call ratio, 30-minute response time required
• Average 8 patients per 24-hour shift
• Inpatient practice setting -- rounding both inpatient and outpatient
• Trauma surgery and chest tube insertion required
• Laparoscopic surgery, vascular surgery skills preferred
• Ongoing coverage assignment
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
