Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens physician to cover a 24-hour shift pattern in Wisconsin Rapids. The assignment includes both inpatient and outpatient duties with adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations. Laparoscopic and vascular surgery experience is preferred, along with OB/GYN, hepatic, breast, and head/neck procedure skills.

GI endoscopy and chest wall/pleural work are also preferred. The assignment is ongoing with schedule development underway and includes paid malpractice

Qualifications

• Laparoscopic and vascular surgery experience preferred.
• Experience with OB/GYN, hepatic, breast, and head/neck procedures preferred.
• GI endoscopy and chest wall/pleural procedures preferred.
• Must be able to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.
• Work in a hospital-based practice with 24-hour shifts.
• Coordinate schedule development for ongoing assignment.

Job description

• Thursday - Sunday, 7 am - 7 am (24-hour shifts)
• 1 - 10 patients per shift; 1 - 10 admissions per shift
• Both inpatient and outpatient practice setting required
• Adult, pediatric, and neonate populations treated
• Laparoscopic and vascular surgery experience preferred
• OB/GYN, hepatic, breast, and head/neck surgery skills preferred
• GI endoscopy and chest wall/pleural procedures preferred
• Ongoing assignment -- schedule development underway
