Job description

The official title for this position is Private Client Service Advisor.

Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to contribute to the overall achievement of the Personal Lines Department's profitability goals. Our Personal Lines team is comprised of licensed insurance professionals with a deep understanding of their clients' needs and the insurance companies serving them.

A Personal Insurance Service Advisor plays a key role in the success of the team by creating strong relationships with clients during moments of need, such as policy service, billing inquiries, and claims consultation. This role also ensures accuracy and efficiency in processing manual declaration pages, downloaded policy transactions, incoming department mail, emails, faxes, and endorsements, including vehicle schedule updates and mortgage company changes. Personal Insurance Service Advisors collaborate with Company Underwriters, Assistants, Marketing Reps, and other personnel to maintain excellent customer service and relationships with carriers.

Additionally, this role will support other Service and Insurance Advisors as needed to ensure a balanced workflow.

Credentials, Experience, and Skills

  • Active General Lines P&C license through the Texas Department of Insurance.
  • At least two years of experience in personal lines insurance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Customer service orientation with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
