Job summary

Mall of America is seeking a Ride Technician II to maintain, repair and inspect all rides and attractions within Nickelodeon Universe in Bloomington, MN. You will respond to trouble calls, perform safe and quality repairs, and ensure a clean, safe work area while delivering excellent guest service.

Preferred candidates have a background in mechanical/electrical repair, hydraulics or pneumatics, strong communication, and a minimum of three years of relevant experience or completion of a two-year

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical and electrical repair in commercial/industrial settings.
• Knowledge of hydraulics or pneumatics helpful.
• Proficient oral and written communication required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum three years mechanical/electrical experience OR completion of a two-year vocational/technical program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair rides and attractions within Nickelodeon Universe.
• Complete ride opening inspections and repairs as assigned.
• Respond to trouble calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete work orders timely, professionally and with safe and quality workmanship.
• Ensure the overall safety of the immediate work area as well as surrounding areas.
• Provide outstanding internal and external guest service.
• Assist and support Ride Tech II as assigned.
• Document and communicate relevant information and problems.
• Maintain effective communication with management and co-workers.
• Regular, reliable and consistent attendance.
