Morgan’s Wonderland in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Ride Maintenance Technician dedicated to safe, reliable operation of all attractions and facilities. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical know-how, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently or with a team in dynamic park settings.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and collaboration with departments to keep rides safe and available for guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or maintenance fields preferred.
• Proven maintenance/repair experience on mechanical and electrical systems, preferably in amusement park, manufacturing, or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, electrical systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints for rides and equipment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills; capable of collaborating with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on rides, attractions, and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues and perform repairs in a timely manner.
• Inspect safety systems (restraints, harnesses, emergency stops) and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists and document all maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new rides, including mechanical assembly and testing.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with other departments and respond promptly to reports of issues.
