Job summary

Story Land in New Hampshire is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician. This full-time role focuses on hands-on maintenance of park facilities, rides, and related infrastructure, with responsibilities spanning carpentry, plumbing, electrical tasks, and safety inspections.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of maintenance experience; a background in trades is a plus. English fluency is required; a valid driver’s license is also needed.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED; trade school training a plus.
1+ year maintenance or construction experience.
Background in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting or landscaping preferred but not required.
Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals, blueprints, schematics.
Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish/other languages a plus.
Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform general facility maintenance on buildings, restrooms, and structures.
Lead and assist with carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical projects.
Inspect and test amusement rides, water rides, and other attractions for safety and completion.
Troubleshoot, test, service, and repair ride components and related equipment.
Maintain park facilities and assist with landscaping as needed.
Document work performed with time and materials per park policies.
Follow safety policies and report issues to leadership in a timely manner.
