Job summary

Five Star Parks and Attractions in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee operation and upkeep of our facility, including arcade games, go-karts and track functionality. You will keep attractions running smoothly and efficiently, managing repairs and safety inspections.

The role requires knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with a focus on preventive maintenance, logging, and adherence to manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Three or more years in a maintenance-related position.
• Ability to obtain government licenses/certificates as required.
• Strong organizational skills and neat appearance.
• Experience with small engines and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform diversified maintenance to ensure facility, go-karts, and arcades operate safely.
• Provide unscheduled repairs and handle routine maintenance per manufacturer guidelines.
• Follow scheduled maintenance checklists and maintain logs and inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing issues and repair as needed.
• Operate tools and equipment safely; maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Assist in preventative maintenance programs for rides and attractions.
• Report issues to supervision and coordinate with supervisor for repairs.
