Job summary

The Iowa Soybean Association is looking for an AMP Compliance Specialist in Ankeny, Iowa. This role supports the implementation of a USDA grant program by ensuring that farmer participants meet eligibility requirements through documentation and coordination with FDA agents.

Responsibilities include managing compliance records and supporting audits, while fostering relationships with farmers and USDA offices. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and a relevant degree.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in relationship management and working with diverse stakeholders, preferably in the agricultural or environmental sector.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Capable of working in a team environment while working independently to achieve specific project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of USDA regulations and compliance requirements related to farmer participation.
• Coordinate with farmer participants to obtain required documentation, signatures, and data-sharing agreements.
• Collaborate with USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) offices to verify participant eligibility.
