Job summary

Chenega Base & Logistics Services, LLC in Ft. Rucker, AL seeks a Warehouse Specialist, ASP responsible for the safe receipt, storage, inventory and issue of ammunition and related materials within DoD facilities.

You will verify materials against receiving documents, route to storage, maintain inventory, prepare shipments, operate warehouse equipment, and uphold explosives safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Maintain a valid state-issued Driver's license and applicable Government/ Army license.

Responsibilities

• Verifying materials against receiving documents, noting discrepancies and damages.
• Routing materials to prescribed storage locations and storing according to methods.
• Taking inventory of stored materials and reporting deterioration or damage.
• Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
• May operate hand or power trucks in warehousing duties.
• Maintenance of equipment and keeping work areas clean for safety.
