Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must maintain a valid state driver's license and government/Army license.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull very heavy parts and loads.
• Working knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other guidelines.
• Understanding of the needs of the organization serviced.
• Ability to work outside in inclement weather when necessary.
• Ensure that all tasks are performed safely.
• Knowledge of Army Supply Systems AR 710-2, DA Pam 710-2-1 and AR 19-11.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Verifying materials against receiving documents and reporting discrepancies or damages.
• Routing materials to storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing according to storage methods.
• Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; reporting deterioration and damage.
• Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
• May operate hand or power trucks in warehousing duties.
• Maintaining equipment and cleaning work areas to maintain a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
