Job summary

NORMA Precision Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our automated ammunition manufacturing facility in the United States.

The role focuses on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of specialized production equipment while upholding safety, quality, and efficiency. Key duties include maintaining loading and priming equipment, hydraulic presses, and automated valves and sensors.

Qualifications

3+ years of mechanical or industrial maintenance experience.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic presses, motorized tables, pneumatic systems, and automated production equipment.
Practical experience with industrial sensors, automated valves, and manufacturing control systems.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality environment and following detailed work instructions.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Strong computer skills including CMMS software and maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance on loading equipment, priming machines, motorized tables, and hydraulic presses.
Troubleshoot and maintain automated valves, sensors, switches, and production line automation.
Adhere to safety protocols, ISO 9001 standards, SOPs, and work instructions.
Document all PMs, repairs, and parts usage using Limble CMMS.
Assist with installation, setup, and continuous improvement of production equipment.
Respond to equipment failures and emergency maintenance requests.
Support a two-shift manufacturing operation as required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
