Job summary

Day & Zimmermann is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our U.S. munitions plant operations. You will set up, operate, and maintain facility equipment, troubleshoot, and support production lines to keep safety and quality at the forefront.

The role requires reading blueprints, performing preventive maintenance, and handling materials with up to 50 lb lifts. A GED/HS diploma and forklift certification are preferred. This on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Must pass required training including forklift and tow motor certification.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with team members.
• Background screening is required for all candidates.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain facility equipment; may assemble/disassemble machines and replace parts as needed.
• Receive, store, pack/unpack, inspect, and prepare components and finished products.
• Read and operate Die-cutting and Strip Cutting machinery per customer specs; inspect dimensions.
• Maintain facility and grounds; perform general duties including trash removal and equipment care.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspect equipment; operate hand or power trucks as required.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
