Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an Ammunition Manager Assistant to support U.S. Army ammunition stocks within USCENTCOM at a customer site.

You will help manage inventory, stockpile objects, and theater distribution as part of a cross-functional logistics team. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10+ years in ammunition management, active Secret clearance, and ability to deploy OCONUS to Kuwait.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required with 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
• Active Secret security clearance required
• CENTCOM medical and deployment eligibility for OCONUS
• U.S. Passport with at least two years remaining
• Ability to obtain Kuwait Work Visa
• 5+ years theater/operational ammunition management experience
• 10+ years of ammunition management and theater distribution experience
• Proficiency in SAAS operations and reports

Responsibilities

• Assist US Government with supply, inventory and stockpile management for Army ammunition stocks in USCENTCOM
• Provide asset visibility using SAAS, TAMIS, MHP, NLAC and related systems
• Identify shortages and recommend resupply actions and track stock levels
• Track ammunition shipments by air, ground and sea within the theater
• Produce Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint slides showing stock levels
• Troubleshoot issues with Class V schedule shipments
• Analyze ammunition pallet shortages by destination
• Evaluate and approve/disapprove Ammunition Basic Load (ABL) requests
• Track ABL status and provide updated reporting
• Serve as SME in ammunition operations and contingency planning
