Job summary

V2X Inc seeks an Ammo Handler to support storage, receipt, issue, and shipping of Class V ammunition in a military setting. You will operate MHE, verify documentation, and maintain accurate inventory records.

The role requires compliance with MIL-STD-129R, security screenings, and background checks, with potential onsite training and certifications. Work is outdoors, first shift, at Fort Benning, GA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Related experience in a warehouse/order filler setting is a plus.
• Basic Ammunition Certifications preferred (Ammo-45,63,64,67,68,75,76,112) IAW AMC-R 350-4).
• Must be able pass local ammunition security screenings.
• Must be able pass the background check to have unaccompanied access to arms, ammunition and explosives.
• Must have a valid REAL ID State Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
• Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.
• Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Benning Installation.

Responsibilities

• Performs warehouse duties as directed.
• Verifies materials against receiving documents and reports discrepancies.
• Reviews DA Form 3151 and pulls items for unit issue.
• Replaced associated item during unit return, receipts and shipment process.
• Conducts frequent location surveys to ensure accuracy of ammunition in storage.
• Operates Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including forklifts.
• Performs inventory control procedures and records data.
• Performs remarking and stenciling of ammunition containers as required.
• Ensures all storage locations and IDS system are secured at end of day.
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet objectives.
