Job summary

V2X, Inc. seeks an Ammo Handler to manage storage, receipt, issue, shipment, and repacking of ammunition at Fort Benning. The role enforces MIL-STD procedures and ensures compliance with security screenings and background checks.

The position requires operating MHE, performing remarking and stenciling as needed, and maintaining accurate records in a rigorous warehouse environment. 40-hour workweek, first shift, with outdoor work conditions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience in ammunition or warehouse handling.
• Ability to operate in an outdoor environment and all weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass local ammunition security screenings and background checks.
• Valid REAL ID driver's license with no restrictions and ability to obtain CAC/NACI etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties and verify items against receiving documents.
• Process unit issue and unit returns; assist in shipment and rewarehousing tasks.
• Conduct location surveys to ensure accuracy of ammunition in storage.
• Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safely and effectively.
• Maintain records and paperwork as required; follow MIL-STD guidelines.
