Shift: 6:15 PM-6:45 AM

Hourly Rate: $35.00 an hour + $.25 for 2nd; .30 for 3rd shift differential

Conagra Brands - Indianapolis, home of Reddi Whip and Blue Bonnet, is looking to add to our experienced facilities maintenance team. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will work onsite at the Indianapolis, IN manufacturing plant on West 62nd St. This is a night shift position scheduled 4 days on and 4 days off, 12-hour shifts. Refrigeration/Ammonia Techs will perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all Process Refrigeration, HVAC, Boilers, and Compressed Air equipment.

Compensation:

• $35/hour guarantee. $40.83/hr if working 12-hour shift.

• Differentials ($0.25 for 2nd and $0.30 for 3rd)

YOU WILL

• Comply with Safety, PSM, environmental, SQF, GMP policies, procedures and regulations.
• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, test, adjust, and maintains the facility’s utilities systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes, maintaining steady-state operations and continuity across multiple shifts.
• Support weekly work order schedules as arranged by Facilities Maintenance Planner, utilizing CMMS to accurately document and track work order hours and execution.
• Help perform major and minor repairs on Utility Equipment (Boilers, Ammonia Refrigeration, HVAC, Air Compressors, Fire Retention Systems and Cooling Towers).
• Support Break-Down-Analysis (BDA) and 5S for assigned Facilities areas and supports and actively participates in continuous improvement activities through the Conagra Performance System (CPS).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of stationary engineer, industrial maintenance, commercial HVAC, or military equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical & mechanical equipment and systems
• Required to attend GCAP (or equivalent approved by Management & paid by company) for Ammonia Operator 1 & 2 certification and Boiler Tech 1 certification if not already obtained.
• Ability to work overtime and/or flex work hours as required (day or night 12-hour shifts) including weekends and holidays.
