Job summary

Echo Lake Foods, a Burlington, Wisconsin-based producer of egg products, is seeking an Ammonia (NH3) Maintenance Mechanic to ensure safe operation of refrigeration and utility systems in a food manufacturing setting. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in line with IIAR standards and safety policies.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in industrial maintenance, experience with high-speed equipment, and familiarity with AC/DC motors and VFDs.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years in industrial maintenance, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting and repair skills for high-speed equipment.
Experience with AC/DC motors and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
Ability to read diagrams, blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, and manufacturing specs.
Knowledge of piping systems and mechanical components.
Basic arithmetic skills.
Ability to operate drilling and milling machines to produce parts.
Effective oral and written communication; strong teamwork.
Safety-focused mindset aligned with GMPs and company policies.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment including conveyors, motors, electrical systems, and facility equipment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.
Complete daily maintenance and repair documentation and logs.
Comply with GMPs and company safety policies and procedures.
