Responsibilities:

• Perform installation and alteration of refrigeration systems and related equipment/facilities.
• Familiar with start-up and shut-down processes in production plants.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical components with the meter when equipment is down.
• Perform PMs, maintain all assigned equipment and systems, and ensure all systems are performing in a safe and functional manner at all times.
• Repair and maintain all assigned systems/equipment throughout the plant and ensure they operate according to the required standards.
• Maintain and perform preventative maintenance activities and conduct repairs on all assigned systems/equipment.

Qualifications:

• Ammonia refrigeration experience or refrigeration experience.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• The ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with air compressors and associated control systems.
• Good communication skills to ensure timely repairs of equipment and issues that arise.
• 3+ years of experience as a Refrigeration Technician in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of EPA regulations.
• Knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration systems and compressors.
• Ammonia refrigeration troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
• Ability to work in a wide variety of temperatures.
• Will be required to work weekends as needed to meet customer needs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Company vehicle, phone, and laptop provided.

Compensation:

$35+ hourly DOE
