Job summary

A service-oriented company in Springfield is looking for a Refrigeration Technician to perform installation and maintenance of refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in an industrial environment, excellent troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems. Candidates must be able to work unsupervised and communicate effectively to resolve issues quickly. The role may require weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Refrigeration Technician in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of EPA regulations is essential.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems and compressors.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation and alteration of refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical components when equipment is down.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on all assigned systems/equipment.
