Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial ammonia refrigeration experience or equivalent
• 1 year of industrial maintenance education preferred; technical school credentials acceptable
• Certification and experience as RETA Operator 1 required; RETA Operator 2 and 3 preferred
• Basic computer skills to log information and process work orders; ability to learn CMMS
• Strong communication and math skills necessary to perform tasks effectively

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support to ensure safe and effective operation of ammonia refrigeration systems and related utilities
• Perform preventive maintenance, refrigeration repairs, and emergency mechanical/electrical repairs
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, pump, pressure, and hydraulic equipment
• Understand boiler theory and NH3 refrigeration schematics; support emergency response activities
• Minimize downtime by maintaining equipment reliability and safety
