Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking Maintenance and Refrigeration Technicians to safely operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration, HCFC, hot water, compressed air and steam systems across our facilities. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and support plant personnel to minimize downtime.

Candidates should have 3+ years in industrial ammonia refrigeration, RETA Operator 1 certification, and be able to pass a HAZ-MAT physical.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial ammonia refrigeration experience.
• Industrial maintenance diploma or enrolled in technical school.
• RETA Operator 1 certification required; RETA Operator 2/3 preferred.
• Basic computer skills and CMMS usage.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support for ammonia refrigeration, HCFC, hot water and steam systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, emergency repairs and troubleshooting across plant equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and work with RETA/HAZMAT guidelines.
