Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance Technician for 1st shift to operate, predictively maintain, and repair the facility's refrigeration and plant systems. The role requires hands-on experience with ammonia systems, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical maintenance to support safety and product quality.

The successful candidate will perform preventative maintenance, document daily logs, and contribute to continuous plant efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of mechanic work experience or completion of an industrial maintenance training program.
• HVAC/R experience or CIRO.CARO certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance as tasked.
• Maintain the ammonia refrigeration system and related plant facilities.
• Complete daily log sheets and report unsafe conditions or anomalies.
• Improve plant efficiencies and product quality through proactive operations.
• Maintain accurate mechanical inventory and support safety programs.
