Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Christiana, DE, is seeking a full-time Ammo Sales Outfitter to deliver friendly customer service and drive sales of Hunting/Archery Merchandise (NON-Firearms). You will greet customers, assess needs, and recommend products while promoting CLUB memberships and store pickup options.

The role requires standing for long periods, the ability to lift items up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with team lift, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years retail experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older and capable of standing long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide counter sales and customer service for Hunting/Archery Merchandise (NON-Firearms).
• Identify customer needs and make product recommendations to complete sales.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC and in-store pick up.
• Maintain organization and stock on the gun counter non-firearms area.
• Follow all company policies and ensure a safe, clean work area.

This position provides customer service and sales of Floor Hunting/Archery Merchandise. They perform various selling/customer service activities, to include greeting and acknowledging all customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, providing information, assistance and direction to customers.***ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**** Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
