Day & Zimmermann in Hawthorne, NV, is seeking an experienced Manager, Ammo Process Operations to oversee maintenance, renovation, modification, demilitarization, and related projects at Hawthorne Army Depot. You will lead supervisors and munitions personnel, ensure safety, compliance, and timely execution under contract requirements.

Responsibilities include planning operations, maintaining records, coordinating training, managing budgets, and reporting metrics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's preferred.
• 6+ years in ammunition operations or related munitions operations.
• Ability to obtain security clearances and required licenses.
• Must have Nevada driver’s license and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Must be able to work in safety-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage ammunition process operations, including maintenance, renovation, modification, demilitarization, and special projects.
• Direct supervisors and munitions personnel to ensure safe disposition and compliance with directives.
• Maintain production records, reports, and operational data for ammunition processed and dispositioned.
• Coordinate training, qualification, and procedural compliance for explosive material and related operations.
• Manage budgets, resources, and facilities; identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Report safety and environmental concerns and uphold Company ethics and standards.
