TD Securities (USA) LLC in New York seeks a Java Developer / Data Engineer to design and implement data pipelines and analytics engines for the Compliance, Surveillance & Supervision product technology team. You will work with both in-house platforms and vendor solutions to meet regulatory and information security obligations.

The role requires strong Core Java with Python exposure, 3+ years of experience, and hands-on experience with Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, and cloud data lakes.

Formación

• At least 3 years of related experience.
• Strong Core Java experience with some Python exposure.
• Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data lakes and Databricks/Hadoop.
• Familiarity with capital markets asset classes and products.
• Understanding of AML, trade surveillance and payments surveillance.
• Experience designing and building surveillance data models.
• Ability to work with large data sets in batch and near-real-time.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems with vendor applications.
• Understanding of messaging systems including Solace and Kafka.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and integrate tools and technologies used across the Compliance, Surveillance, and Supervision domain.
• Build robust, scalable data pipelines and analytics engines.
• Integrate upstream bank systems with core surveillance platforms.
• Deliver solutions that satisfy regulatory, compliance and information security obligations.
