AML Sr. Investigator I - Sanctions Escalations

The AML Sr. Investigator I on the Sanctions Escalations team performs a key risk management role (second line of defense) to help ensure corporate initiatives and lines of business processes comply with applicable sanctions laws and regulations. While working within the Compliance Management Program framework, the AML Sr. Investigator I is responsible for decisioning complex sanctions alerts, delivering quality results, and executing or participating in corporate processes.

• Accurately documenting alert decisioning and delivering high quality results
• Assisting in relevant regulatory reporting
• Working with senior advisors to support lines of business in the application of sanctions compliance requirements, such as remediation/corrective action of compliance breakdowns

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
• At least 1 year of sanctions experience, or Anti-Money Laundering (AML) experience, or investigative experience, or compliance experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years sanctions experience, or investigative experience, or compliance experience
• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, or Fraud Prevention or Homeland Security
• 3+ years of experience in an Anti-Money Laundering capacity
• 3+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry

• Chicago, IL: $74,200 - $84,700 for AML Sr. Investigator I
• McLean, VA: $81,700 - $93,300 for AML Sr. Investigator I
• Plano, TX: $74,200 - $84,700 for AML Sr. Investigator I
• Richmond, VA: $74,200 - $84,700 for AML Sr. Investigator I
• Wilmington, DE: $74,200 - $84,700 for AML Sr. Investigator I

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
