Job summary

IQVIA is seeking experienced Medical Science Liaisons to support a late-stage AML program. The MSL will engage with investigators, hematologists, and oncologists to exchange data on MRD, relapse risk, and evolving standards of care.

This field-based role emphasizes scientific exchange and collaboration with Medical Affairs. The position requires an advanced clinical or scientific degree, 4+ years MSL experience, 3+ years hematology/oncology expertise, and travel up to 70%.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree required (PharmD/MD/DO/PhD/etc.).
• Minimum of 4 years of MSL experience or relevant clinical experience in hematology/oncology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in hematology/oncology with therapeutic area expertise.
• Proven ability to communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of oncology treatment landscapes and market dynamics.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% within assigned territory.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs and investigators across the assigned territory.
• Engage in compliant, peer-to-peer scientific discussions on AML, MRD, biomarkers, and evolving standards of care.
• Communicate complex information clearly to physicians, researchers, and care teams.
• Support disease-state education, advisory boards, and investigator meetings.
• Execute scientific exchange with healthcare professionals using approved materials.
• Identify training needs and opportunities for education.
• Support investigator-initiated studies and study development with investigators.
• Provide insights to leadership to inform research, development, and strategies.
