Job summary

IQVIA seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support a late-stage AML program and engage hematology/oncology investigators and clinicians across the assigned territory.

You will facilitate scientific exchange, communicate clinical data, and gather insights on disease biology, MRD, relapse risk, and evolving care standards while supporting Medical Affairs and clinical development objectives.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree required; PharmD, MD, DO, PhD, DNP, NP, PA or equivalent strongly preferred from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 4 years of Medical Science Liaison (MSL) experience or relevant clinical experience within hematology and/or oncology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in hematology/oncology.
• Demonstrated track record of success in medical affairs, clinical development, clinical practice, scientific engagement, or related healthcare roles.
• Strong understanding of healthcare stakeholder segments, treatment landscapes, and market dynamics within oncology.
• Proven ability to communicate complex scientific and clinical information effectively to diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals, researchers, and key opinion leaders.
• Proficiency with business and communication technologies, including CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and other digital engagement tools.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Position may require compliance with client-specific site access requirements, including vaccination or health screening protocols.
• Familiarity with planning and execution of clinical trials in oncology and related research studies.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and OIG guidelines.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs, academic investigators, and priority institutions across the assigned territory.
• Engage in compliant, peer-to-peer scientific discussions regarding AML and hematologic malignancies.
• Communicate complex clinical information to diverse external stakeholders.
• Support disease-state education, advisory boards, investigator meetings, and other medical activities.
• Tactically execute scientific exchange with HCPs and formulary committees using client-approved materials.
• Identify medical community training and educational needs.
• Serve as a contact for investigators initiating investigator-initiated studies.
• Provide investigators with technical support for study development.
• Identify and communicate key clinical issues from industry leaders to MSL leadership.
• Maintain clinical expertise through conferences and review of journals.
• Increase client company visibility with thought leaders.
