Job summary

ACA Group is seeking an AML/KYC Consultant to support investor onboarding and ongoing monitoring activities in private funds environments from the United States. The role requires strong judgement in assessing entity structures, identifying documentation gaps, and escalating higher-risk matters.

You will perform reviews for investor onboarding, support CDD/EDD processes, and review documentation across various entity types, ensuring accurate conclusions and timely follow-ups.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of AML/KYC investor onboarding, fund compliance, or financial crime operations within private markets.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing institutional investors, complex structures, private equity, hedge funds subscription documentation.
• Strong understanding of investor due diligence framework under Luxembourg AML regime; Cayman Islands AML Regulations; US financial crime compliance principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform AML/KYC reviews for investor onboarding and lifecycle events within private funds environments.
• Support execution of Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) per procedures and regulatory expectations.
• Review investor documentation and assess completeness across entities (corporates, partnerships, trusts, regulated FI).
• Analyze ownership structures and recommend valid alternative documentation where standard docs unavailable.
• Document onboarding conclusions clearly, including risk considerations and follow-ups.
• Escalate complex or high-risk investor files to senior reviewers as needed.
• Meet productivity, quality, and SLA expectations for onboarding delivery across the engagement.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain balanced file analysis and coverage.
