First Merchants Bank is seeking an AML/CFT Analyst to join our team in Columbus, OH. This role provides clerical and analytical support for the AML/CFT program, performing data validation, monitoring alerts, and helping with customer due diligence.

The successful candidate will have at least two years of relevant banking experience, a high school diploma or GED, and ideally a bachelor’s degree. We offer benefits including health insurance, 401k, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in retail, operations, or compliance banking.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field is a plus.
• Strong analytical and investigation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute AML/CFT monitoring tasks and validation of data feeds into BAM.
• Process alerts from AML monitoring system and other sources.
• Perform periodic reviews of higher risk customers.
• Execute 314a scan procedures.
• Perform OFAC scans and manage results.
• Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
• Assist with monitoring procedures and investigations as needed.
• Assist with basic analysis and investigations.
