Parkwest Casino is seeking an AML/BSA Compliance Associate to support the Compliance Department with clerical duties, file organization, and data handling under strict confidentiality. Candidate will assist in daily audits of SAR/CTR logs and other Cage records to ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong MS Office skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Some overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

  • Organizes and maintains SAR/CTR files and records for Compliance.
  • Notifies Administrator/Officer of suspicious activities promptly.
  • Maintains compliance files and tracks required documentation.
  • Conducts daily audits of transaction logs and Cage logs for Title 31 compliance.
  • Performs clerical duties (phones, mail, supplies) for the department.
  • Maintains confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Assists with special projects and training as needed.

Overview

Parkwest Bicycle Casino is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated AML/BSA Compliance Associate to join our team. We are seeking a team player who wil provide clerical support to our Compliance department and ensure that all confidential data is maintained securely and handled in a discreet fashion. Please see responsibilities below!

Responsibilities
  • Organizes and maintains records, files and statistics for the Compliance Department to include but not limited to SAR and CTR files.
  • Organizes files so they can easily be accessed and inter-referenced.
  • Notifies the Administrator and/or Officer in a timely manner of matters related to suspicious activities and transactions.
  • Maintains all compliance files (i.e., SARs filed, CTR's filed, worksheets pending review, etc.).
  • Responsible for tracking files submitted to respective departments for additional information.
  • Maintains up-to-date files on customers with multiple SAR activity.
  • Responsible for all clerical duties for the department including but not limited to ordering office supplies, answering phones, directing calls to the appropriate departments, etc.
  • Reads and routes incoming mail. Locates and attaches appropriate file to the correspondence to be answered by employer.
  • Prepares outgoing mail and regularly reports as required.
  • May assist in composing and typing routine correspondence and memoranda.
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Must be able to multi-task projects and prioritize based on deadline in a fast paced environment. Must be able to make routine decisions in absence of staff and able to work with a high degree of confidentiality and have a strong attention to detail.
  • Will assist in daily audits and analysis of multiple transaction logs, suspicious activity reports and other Cage logs as required to ensure compliance with all elements of Title 31 requirements.
  • Attends training as appropriate to fulfill requirements, update job skills and promote development, and arranges for staff to do the same.
  • Assists in special projects as necessary.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge or license.
  • Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background and credit check.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be accurate and have an attention to detail
  • Well organized
  • Ability to work cooperatively with staff
  • Ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism
  • Willing to work overtime when necessary. On occasion and special projects, may be asked to work different shifts to include weekends.
  • Bilingual in any language a plus.

Education: High school diploma.

Experience: Two or more year’s related experience in gaming compliance and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, and bend at neck for 6 or more hours a day.
  • Position will require repetitive use of hands for the following actions; simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling and reaching for entire shift.
  • Position may require exposure to excessive noise.
  • Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
