Job summary

Customers Bank seeks an AML Analyst responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, reviewing and reporting suspicious activity, and researching findings. You will work with a dedicated team to monitor transactions, escalate concerns, and document results.

The role requires 2+ years in AML transaction monitoring, familiarity with BSA/AML, OFAC sanctions, and ACAMS or CFE certifications. Strong analytical skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a dedicated transaction monitoring investigation function with BSA/AML typologies.
  • 2+ years in banking with general product and service knowledge.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and with a team.
  • Experience documenting AML alerts, case investigations, SAR and non-SAR filings.
  • Experience in BSA Compliance, Banking, Auditing or Fraud Investigations.
  • ACAMS/CFE certifications or equivalent AML certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review system generated alerts, assess impact to AML processes, and document results.
  • Write suspicious activity reports and address sanctions alerts per regulatory expectations.
  • Provide support and training for AML Analysts as a SME and escalation point.
  • Complete complex investigations on highly confidential matters.
  • Maintain current knowledge of laws, regulations, and procedures.

We are looking for a highly motivated, team player, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act Regulation’s, Anti-Money Laundering related regulations, Office of Foreign Assets Control Regulations and USA PATRIOT Act Regulations.Review system generated alerts, assess impact to AML processes, conduct research as required, and document results in written format.Write suspicious activity reports, address sanctions alerts, and other applicable AML processes in accordance with regulatory expectations and departmental procedures.Provide support and training for AML Analysts serving as a subject matter expert and escalation point for transaction monitoring related inquiries.Complete complex or special investigations on highly confidential matters in accordance with procedures.Maintain current knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures applicable to the job assignment.Other duties related to BSA compliance may be assigned.What Do You Need?2+ years in a dedicated transaction monitoring investigation function with specific expertise in BSA/AML typologies and red flags.2+ years in banking with a strong understanding of general bank products and services.Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team, establishing cooperative and collaborative working relationships.Experience in documenting AML alerts, case investigations, SAR and non-SAR filings.Experience in BSA Compliance, Banking, Auditing or Fraud Investigations.ACAMS (Preferred) or CFE Certifications, or similar AML or Investigator Certifications.Technology Skills:Advanced analytical skillsAdvanced computer skills, including intermediate knowledge with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.Customers Bank is an equal opportunity employer.
