Job summary

The Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Systems Analyst at Consolidated Edison Company of New York will serve as the technical lead for implementing and supporting the AMI platform, including MDM and MAM. This role requires deep knowledge of AMI technologies, networking, and software, collaborating with IT teams to ensure effective testing and timely information for end users.

You will oversee capacity planning for a five‑year horizon, maintain cost‑effective practices to keep technologies

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and four (4) years of experience in an IT field.
• Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of experience in an IT field.
• Knowledge of application support, troubleshooting and debugging, required.
• Exposure to systems design across platforms and future integrations, required.
• Understanding of Waterfall, Agile or other rapid app development methods, required.
• Experience with technical documentation and communication to IT and business groups, required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to analysis of system problems and formulating changes; troubleshoot production application issues.
• Ensure safety, health and environmental programs are followed per company policy.
• Adhere to Way We Work Principles and Company standards including EHS and EEO policies.
• Support software upgrades with development practices and documentation; assist in 24/7 AMI operations.
• Prepare for system changes and upgrades with monitoring and documentation updates.
• Meet with business users to refine requirements and translate to technical specs.
