Intel Corporation in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Module Equipment Technician for the AMHS team on a Night Shift 4 compressed work week. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, calibrate, and maintain factory equipment in a cleanroom environment, supporting wafer and reticle handling and tool installation during ramps.

Qualified candidates have 1+ years of electrical/mechanical trouble shooting and equipment assembly experience; Associates degree and robotics familiarity are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, reassemble, and install equipment per blueprints and manuals.
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain production equipment; coordinate with service providers.
• Analyze equipment data to improve reliability and address module issues.
• Document failures and update specifications to enhance performance.
• Assist engineering with experiments, configuration changes, and data collection.

Job Details: Job Description: This is for Night Shift 4 (compressed work week) From Sunday to Tuesday, including alternating Saturdays) About the Role and Impact Intel's Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) team plays an integral role in ensuring the seamless operation of our cutting-edge manufacturing facilities. As a Module Equipment Technician, you will contribute directly to the efficiency and reliability of Intel's world-class factory systems. The AMHS manages the storage and transportation of wafers and reticles in a cleanroom environment, foundational to Intel's mission to create technologies that connect and enrich lives globally. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop technical expertise, collaborate with global teams, and support the expansion of Intel's facilities to maintain industry leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in manufacturing equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, reassemble, and install equipment based on blueprints, layout plans, and technical manuals.
• Conduct setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance on production equipment, collaborating with suppliers for service and repairs when needed.
• Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to improve reliability and address module-related issues.
• Create reports documenting equipment failures and update or develop specifications to enhance overall maintenance and performance.
• Support engineering teams by executing experiments, equipment configuration changes, and data collection activities to meet production goals.
• Collaborate with module engineering during factory ramps to ensure tool installation and conversion per design requirements.

Qualifications: The Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. The preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (with 1+ years of experience).
• 1+ years of experience in Electrical and mechanical trouble shooting.
• 1+ years of experience in dismantle, repair, and assemble of equipment.
• Experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc) and standard web-based applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or a related field of study.
• Familiarity with robotic systems, including drives, actuators, and microcontrollers.
• Experience interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience in electro-mechanical maintenance and repair.
• Semiconductor equipment maintenance experience.
• Cleanroom operations Experience.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $51,710.00-99,770.00 USD (Hourly Role) The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
