Job summary

CSM Solutions Inc in Fort Meade, MD seeks CAT III Linguists to provide interpretation, translation, transcription, and analysis for supported forces on 24/7 missions. You will translate between English and Amharic, add cultural context, and contribute to intelligence reporting.

Requirements include US citizenship, active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance, polygraph, and CI Focus Interview. Native proficiency is preferred; strong geopolitical knowledge and computer literacy are essential.

Qualifications

• Native proficiency preferred, not required.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Minimum 2 years of interpretation/translation experience.
• ILR level 3 in Target Language and English.
• Must have document exploitation skills.
• Active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance required.
• Able to pass polygraph and CI Focus Interview.
• Strong geopolitical knowledge and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation and translation services for supported forces.
• Transcribe/translate source material, both printed and audio, and report findings.
• Provide cultural and ethnic context of translations with expert opinions.
• Perform document exploitation and analyze foreign language documents for intel.
