CDL Class A Bulk Tanker Driver

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, the nation's leading single-source supplier of gases, welding and safety products, is seeking Liquid Bulk Tanker Drivers. Our distribution network serves more than one million customers nationwide with top-quality products and unmatched expertise.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Promote and comply with Air Liquide Safety Policies and Operating Procedures
2. Use required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
3. Drive Commercial Motor Vehicle (tractor-trailer) to transport and off-load industrial gases safely and courteously
4. Report accidents, safety issues, citations, and customer complaints immediately
5. Follow all policies, procedures, and regulations
6. Perform pre & post trip inspections and operate equipment per guidelines
7. Complete reports as required by DOT and company policies
8. Utilize On Board Computer accurately
9. Maintain professional appearance and wear full uniform

Accountabilities:

Safety: Zero vehicle accidents/injuries, attend safety training and meetings, comply with safety policies and DOT regulations.

Customer Satisfaction: Report to work on schedule, be courteous, ensure accurate delivery tickets.

Qualifications:

1. At least 21 years old
2. HS Diploma or GED preferred
3. One or more years of tractor-trailer driving experience
4. Haz-Mat endorsements
5. Knowledge of cryogenic, compressed gases preferred
6. Valid Class A CDL
7. Pass DOT regulations tests
8. Computer skills

Physical Requirements:

1. Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and Physical Ability Testing
2. Lift up to 60 pounds
3. Manual dexterity for controls and valves
4. Work in various environments
5. Frequent walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, stooping, standing, grasping, balancing, climbing, kneeling, crouching
6. Sitting for long periods
7. Operate vehicles, tools, and equipment
