Prosperous Health is seeking an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to deliver individual, group, and family therapy within IOP and PHP levels of care. You will work under supervision and coordinate with psychiatrists, therapists, and case managers to ensure high-quality patient care.

The position supports a remote/telehealth workflow across California, with a pay range of $28–$38 per hour (DOE). California AMFT registration and strong documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Active California AMFT registration required.
• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or related qualifying field.
• Experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, or outpatient clinical settings preferred.
• Familiarity with IOP and PHP levels of care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote/telehealth environment.

Responsabilités

• Conduct clinical assessments and assist with biopsychosocial evaluations.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans under supervision.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as clinically indicated.
• Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups within IOP/PHP settings.
• Provide case management and assist with coordination of community resources.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team members.
• Participate in crisis intervention and risk assessment under supervision.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in EHR systems.
• Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Advocate for clients and support engagement and participation in treatment.
• Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development.
• Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.
• Practice within the scope of an AMFT registration and California Board of Behavioral Sciences requirements.
