St. Joseph's Helpers (SJH) is seeking a full-time AmeriCorps VISTA Development Coordinator to enhance fundraising operations, donor engagement systems, and long-term financial sustainability.

The role offers hands-on experience in nonprofit development, grant writing, donor relations, events, and capacity building in a faith-based service environment. The VISTA member will organize donor databases, research funders, prepare grant materials, and maintain development records.

Qualifications

• Communications, grant writing, and fundraising skills required.
• Ability to research foundation, corporate, and government funding opportunities.
• Experience updating donor databases and preparing grant materials.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen fundraising and development systems.
• Organize donor databases and update giving records.
