Saint John’s Hospice in Center City Philadelphia seeks an AmeriCorps VISTA Coordinator to strengthen volunteer engagement and donor stewardship. The role will recruit, train, and support volunteers for the meal program while building partnerships with schools, faith communities, and local organizations to expand involvement.

Responsibilities include data management, reporting improvements, and supporting fundraising efforts through annual appeals, newsletters, and donor visits.

Formación

• College degree required.
• Experience in community outreach or fundraising is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Strengthen Saint John’s Hospice capacity by enhancing volunteer engagement and donor stewardship.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and support volunteers for the meal program.
• Build relationships with schools, faith communities, corporations, and civic organizations to expand volunteers.
• Maintain volunteer records and improve reporting systems.
• Support fundraising through donor visits, events, appeals, and newsletters.
• Develop and administer an annual survey of residents and Day Services guests.
