Job summary

Conservation Legacy seeks an AmeriCorps Assistant Crew Leader to support the SECC program in Chattanooga, TN. You will help lead a crew, communicate project requirements, and ensure safety and effective learning during field placements.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the Staff Crew Leader, coordinating logistics, and fostering a constructive environment for crew members while traveling to Cherokee National Forest sites.

Qualifications

• Must be US citizen/national or permanent resident.
• Ages 18-30 (up to 35 for veterans).
• High school diploma or equivalent prior to participating in AmeriCorps.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate positive Crew Member experience and communicate directions.
• Help manage projects, logistics, and crew assignments with Staff Crew Leader.
• Mentor Crew Members and ensure safety and learning during fieldwork.
