Job summary

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is seeking an AmeriCorps Program Development Specialist in Helena. The role supports daily and program planning for MTWFPA AmeriCorps, working with field managers to design meaningful member tasks.

It also assists in grant applications and program development to advance the agency's mission. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least two years of relevant experience; AmeriCorps or volunteer program management and grant writing are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Work, Sociology, Liberal Arts, Education or Natural Resources.
• Two years of related work experience required; AmeriCorps or volunteer program management and grant writing experience preferred.
• Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist the AmeriCorps, Interpretation, and Volunteer Program Manager with daily and program planning to implement MTWFPA AmeriCorps.
• Collaborate with field managers to develop methods and procedures for meaningful AmeriCorps member tasks.
• Assist in preparing AmeriCorps grant applications.
