Security Management Resources is seeking an Americas regional security leader for our client, a multinational corporation with operations primarily in the US and in Europe. Reporting to the Director of Security, Americas, this is a start-up position with responsibility for providing dedicated security support to businesses in North America. The role is a perfect fit for a mid-career security professional with a combination of public and private sector experience. Management of security programs in diverse environments both in the US, Canada, and Mexico will be an asset.
Leadership
– Support and contribute to the development and implementation of regional security services.
– Collaborate across the enterprise with various departments and internal stakeholders.
– Foster mutually beneficial relationships with law enforcement, intelligence, and regulatory agencies.
Intelligence
– Develop and maintain intelligence networks related to threats to regional organizational operations.
– Identify and evaluate threats, risks, and vulnerabilities.
– Provide intelligence-driven subject matter expertise for the benefit of all regional operations.
Human Capital
– Collaborate on security and safety protection protocols for executive protection and events hosted onsite or supported remotely.
– Foster regional awareness of security and build a security-conscious workplace culture through development and delivery of training initiatives.
Physical Security
– Support and conduct site reviews and annual risk assessments designed to optimize protection of all enterprise assets.
– Conduct internal and external investigations including criminal and background investigations.
– Implement efficiency in site security programs and processes across multiple locations.
Resiliency and Incident Response
– Provide immediate response to security incidents and crisis emergency situations across the region.
Security and Technology
– Protect people, property, and facilities through integration of technology programs and processes.
